Campus Environment Teams
Chair(s)
- Sharon Smith, West campus
- Tosheka Robinson, Downtown Phoenix campus
- Regina Matos, Tempe campus
- Joel Hutchinson, Polytechnic campus
Each of the four campuses has a campus environment team (CET) to promote campus-wide appreciation of diversity and respect for all individuals, while also protecting free speech and academic freedom. These teams promote a positive, harmonious campus environment that celebrates individual and group diversity, promotes individualism, provides information to the campus community and resolves issues in such a manner as to respect all persons and their dignity. To coordinate university-wide initiatives and ensure communication among all of the CETs, there is an executive committee consisting of the chairperson from each campus, the staff person assigned to the CET, and the University Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. Each team is advisory to the President and the University Provost and appointed by the university provost. (Three-year terms)
