Committee on Committees

The committee nominates faculty and academic professionals for election or appointment to senate committees, university committees, and faculty-student committees; it nominates replacements when vacancies occur. It designs and receives results of the Academic Preference Survey in Fall, and nominates assembly officers and other candidates for the Academic Assembly Ballot in Spring. It nominates for university committees and boards in Spring (based upon the results of the Academic Preference Survey taken in the Fall.)  Membership: Seven senators elected from the Senate, including three faculty members from the Tempe campus, one faculty member from the West, Polytechnic, and Downtown Phoenix campuses, and one academic professional from any campus, and the campus presidents from the UAC. (Two-year terms.)

  Ex officio: The university president, the executive vice president and university provost, the UAC chair and faculty assembly presidents from the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe, and West campuses, and the chair of the Committee on Academic Professional Status.
