The committee serves in a policy-forming and advisory capacity in matters governing student conduct, consistent with the Student Code of Conduct; in matters concerning student organizations; and in other matters related to the academic freedom of students. Membership: Eleven senators elected by the Senate, including five from the Tempe campus and two each from the West, Polytechnic, and Downtown Phoenix campuses. (Two-year terms.)
