Supporting students on their transfer journey to ASU

Did you know that Arizona State University is now accepting applications for both the spring and fall 2025 semesters? As your students prepare for these next steps, it’s always a great reminder to check out all that ASU offers transfer students to assist them on their transfer journey. This includes innovative transfer tools and services such as MyPath2ASU® and our suite of transfer tools that simplify the transfer process. We also combine affordable tuition with competitive financial aid packages, offer over 400-degree programs with classes taught by world-class faculty, and more. Plus, students will always find dedicated staff available to support them throughout the transfer process. We invite your students to learn about the next steps in applying and to reach out to a transfer coordinator with any questions.

Then explore the Sun Devil life during
Transfer Day at ASU. A half-day in-person visit experience, Transfer Day is designed for students to learn about degree programs and transfer credit resources, tour campus, and prepare for their undergraduate experience. Students also have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the academic colleges, Barrett, The Honors College  and current ASU students. Transfer Day is offered on all four of ASU's metropolitan Phoenix campuses. If your students aren't able to attend a Transfer Day, we invite them to explore Experience ASU, our in-person, year-round visit option that includes virtual tours as well.

And if your students haven’t signed up for MyPath2ASU — what are they waiting for? The sooner the better

Academic Alliances is excited to welcome four new transfer student ambassadors who joined our returning transfer student ambassador who assisted in their training. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to the newest members of the team, Bridget, Salvador, Selena, and Danielle, and a welcome back to Vinh! The five TSAs represent Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Estrella Mountain Community College, Paradise Valley Community College and Phoenix College as transfer students themselves.

Transfer student ambassadors are current ASU students who transferred from community colleges to ASU. The TSAs serve as a liaison to the university and provide support to prospective transfer students interested in learning about MyPath2ASU and what to expect as a new Sun Devil. Additionally, the TSAs facilitate their very own monthly peer-to-peer webinar, Transfer Connections with ASU’s Transfer Student Ambassadors, where they share their transfer experience and provide tips for a successful transfer. We encourage you to share this information with your students, and get to know this special group of transfer students!
