Welcome!
We know that there are many things to deal with as you assume your new position at ASU and this page was designed to make the transition a little easier for new faculty. There is a tremendous amount of information on the web to answer many of your questions, but it is often difficult to know how to find it. We hope this web page helps you locate that information and to get settled at ASU.
Welcome events
New faculty can expect an invitation to several events in August that are designed to orient you to ASU and to give you an opportunity to meet other faculty.
Sun Card - ASU's Photo Identification Card
After you receive your ASU ID number, you can obtain a Sun Card (your permanent ASU photo ID) at the ASU Sun Devil Card Services location on your campus. You can choose between the Basic Sun Card and the Pitchfork ID MasterCard® Check Card. Your ASU ID may be used to obtain access to buildings, library privileges, and bookstore and event ticket discounts.

Online computing services
The online activation process from any on-campus computer. Refer also to the instructions on activating your ASURITE UserID.
Research and Creative Activities
Knowledge Enterprise Development has several online resources for researchers.
ORSPA and assigned Research Advancement staff within each department assist faculty, staff and students to secure and administer outside support for their instructional, research and public service activities. Faculty can search for their Research Advancement Staff contact information online or contact Heather Clark, Director of Research Advancement.

The Research and Sponsored Projects Policies and Procedures Manual guides funded and unfunded projects conducted at ASU.
