Arizona State University has transfer options from Arizona and out-of-state community colleges. A variety of programs have been developed and can be accessed on the Transfer to ASU web site, including:

  • Maricopa-ASU Pathways Program (MAPP) - This program outlines the specific courses for students to take at one of the Maricopa Community Colleges to prepare for their desired bachelor’s degree at ASU.
  • Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) - Similar to the MAPP program, the TAG is available to students at all other Arizona community colleges. This program also outlines the specific courses for students to take to prepare for their desired bachelor’s degree at ASU.
  • AAS-BAS - This program is for students who are completing or have already completed an Associate of Applied Science degree. This pathway is followed to maximize credits earned at the community college in transferring to their desired Bachelor of Applied Science degree at ASU.
  • California Guaranteed Admission Program (GPA) - Ideal program for students in California who plan to complete a bachelor's degree through ASU. GPA students are provided with program requirements, resources and tools to maximize their lower division credits.
  • Washington Guaranteed Admission Program (GPA) - Ideal program for students in Washington who plan to complete a bachelor's degree through ASU. GPA students are provided with program requirements, resources and tools to maximize their lower division credits.
