The Office of Interprofessional Continuing Health Education (OICHE) is Arizona State University’s central hub for accreditation and compliance guidance of educational activities planned for and by the healthcare community.
We strive to improve the practice of medicine by accrediting and providing activities that address gaps in the quality of medicine and improve patient outcomes. Our office accredits a wide range of activities that involve medical teaching, clinical research and leadership skills which are based on identified needs of practitioners and healthcare teams.
We strive to optimize health and healthcare team knowledge, innovative skills, values and evidence-based strategies to design, implement and evaluate teambased models of health and healthcare to improve value, enhance the patient experience of care, impact population health, and cultivate the well-being and work life of healthcare providers.
The Office of Interprofessional Continuing Health Eduation is accredited by JAICE (Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education) which is a joint partnership and allows us to offer credits representing the following professions: medicine, nursing, pharmacy, psychology and social work.
