Celebrating 2021 As We Journey Into 2022!
As we begin this new year, we wanted to take a look back at some of the wonderful achievements that have taken place at the university, and some reminders for your transfer students for the upcoming year!
This fall, over 10,000 students graduated from Arizona State University, a ten percent increase from fall 2021. For the seventh year in a row, ASU ranked #1 in the U.S for innovation, ahead of MIT and Stanford, in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges Most Innovative rankings. Additionally, ASU is once again a top 10 “Best Buy” in the U.S. by the Fiske Guide to Colleges Best Buys, as well as a leader in undergraduate education per the Princeton Review, and a top ten university for first-year experiences with its commitment to helping students, including community college transfer students, transition to the university. Now that you know about the amazing accolades and opportunities for your students, it’s a great time to remind them to start planning for their future at ASU with MyPath2ASU™. And for your students who are ready for the next step, we invite them to learn all about the transfer admissions process, how to apply for financial aid, scholarships and FAFSA, and important deadlines and dates. Students can even connect with a transfer admission representative for one-on-one assistance. We also encourage students to check out the various live-hosted virtual visit sessions specifically for transfer students, and to keep an eye out for additional spring transfer events!
Academic Alliances Resources Webpage
At Academic Alliances, we want to ensure students, administrators and our community college partners have access to the most current information to support students in their journey to ASU. To help with this, we’ve provided access to the many resources and tools available to create a seamless transition for students and the latest news and updates for staff — all in one place!
Our Academic Alliances resources webpage was designed to be easily navigated for everyone who utilizes the site. We’ve segmented the information into three main components so you and your students can easily find the information needed to stay informed and connected.
- Academic Alliances news and updates: Here you’ll have access to past issues of Transfer Times (plus the ability to sign up, so be sure to share with your colleagues!), timely blog posts and articles, and direct links to the latest higher education news and resources.
- Resources for students: We encourage your students to sign up for one of the spring undergraduate information sessions for transfer students to gain a first-hand view of the sign-up process and to learn all about the many benefits that being on a pathway to ASU offers.
Students can also connect directly with our Transfer Student Ambassadors (students who transferred into ASU) to get a personalized account of their transition and a comparative overview of being a transfer student, by signing up for our various student-facilitated webinars.
Additionally, students can link directly to the Visit ASU site to create a customized virtual visit experience hosted live by ASU enrollment and academic team members. - Resources for administrators: A comprehensive library of resources is readily available to provide all the information you may need. Resources included information on Universal Articulation, the Transfer Guide, degree programs and financial aid, transferring to ASU and more. You can also access the many digital resources available, including our dynamic series of Your Future at ASU viewbooks and downloadable marketing materials.
You can even “Sparkify” your office and show everyone your Sun Devil spirit with some fun spirit items as well!
