CAA: The Community for Advising and Student Support Professionals
The Community for Advising and Student Support Professionals or CAA is a professional organization available to Arizona State University employees involved in advising and student support roles. CAA’s primary purpose is to build pathways of connection, recognition, support, and development for advising and student support professionals at ASU. It pursues this purpose through professional development for its members, through representative participation university-wide in activities which have potential effect on academic policies and procedures, and through activities that contribute to the recognition by the university community of the importance of advising and student support at the university and the professional nature of that activity.
To learn more about this organization, it’s mission and it’s leadership roles, please view the CAA Bylaws. To receive the weekly digest newsletter with information about CAA events related to your campus or community, professional development opportunities or to get involved, please email [email protected] and include which campus or communities you would like to be affiliated with (mention all that apply: ASU Online, Graduate or Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe and West campuses). Please be sure to also visit the CAA Advising Community Chatter for important and relevant information.
