When Tiffany Parasca began her college journey, she knew she wanted to take an intentional, strategic path. As a high school senior, she enrolled in dual-credit courses at Glendale Community College (GCC) — earning nearly 45 credit hours before she even received her diploma.

“It was a cost-effective way to get ahead and stay mindful of the financial realities of higher education,” Tiffany said. “GCC became the stepping stone I needed to reach my goals.”

For Mia Ramirez, transferring to Arizona State University was a natural next step in her academic journey — one inspired by the mentors who believed in her.

“I was inspired to pursue higher education by my mentors at Chandler Gilbert Ccommunity College — Dr. Nikki Nieset and Dr. Ryan Adams,” Mia shared. “They helped me every step of the way, from writing letters of recommendation to helping me find the right master’s program when I graduate! (ASU was the #1 choice!)”
