Curriculum development

Proposal to establish (Undergraduate)

This page contains the procedures (including links to forms) and levels of governance review required to establish different types of undergraduate programs.

Proposed new degree programs must be included on the ABOR approved University Academic Plan and receive specific written approval from the University Provost’s office.

Once approved for planning, complete the New Program template in Kuali to be routed through the internal ASU proposal development and review process.

Note: Programs requiring a new program fee for implementation must have the program fee approved through the University and ABOR Budget process prior to implementation.

Proposed offerings of an existing degree by a unit in addition to the one currently offering it must be included on the University Academic Plan and receive specific written approval from the University Provost’s office.

Once approved for planning, complete the New Program template in Kuali to be routed through the internal ASU proposal development and review process.
