Prospective transfer students — explore ASU during Transfer Day, and more
Spring Transfer Days 2024
Arizona State University is excited to host Transfer Day on May 13, 16, 17 and 20, 2024. Designed for prospective transfer students, this half-day event will provide information on ASU degree programs, transfer resources, Barrett, The Honors College, and more. Participants will even have the opportunity to meet with academic colleges and current ASU students, plus take a campus tour to get a feel for campus life. Transfer Day programming will be available on all four ASU campuses in the Phoenix metropolitan area beginning at 8 a.m. We encourage your students to attend this awesome event to get first-hand experience about transferring to ASU!
Virtual visit and on-demand programs for your students
In addition to visiting campus for Transfer Day, did you know that your students can participate in on-demand virtual tours? They can even download a self-guided tour app! Plus, virtual programs and events are also available on demand. Prospective transfer students can learn about the admission and enrollment process, financial aid, academic colleges, MyPath2ASU®, and more. And the great thing about on demand is that your students (and even you) can watch as many as they’d like, at any time. Check out all of the options available, and be sure to share with your students.
ASU College Connections spotlight: Two for the month of May!
For the month of May, we’re excited to bring you two College Connections webinar sessions facilitated by ASU academic units. The College of Health Solutions will be hosting the first webinar session on May 2 at 11 a.m. Then the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts will be facilitating the second webinar session on May 16 at 11 a.m.
This is another great opportunity for community college transfer partners to receive advising information and resources they can share with students pursuing specific majors and areas of study. Information on how MyPath2ASU provides clear pathways into these programs will also be provided, in addition to planning tips for transfer students, how to help students experience a smooth transition to ASU, degree programs offered, and more. So be sure to register to hear directly from staff within the academic units and to ask any questions you may have.
We look forward to seeing you not once, but twice in the month of May!

Community college MyPath2ASU partnership update
Navigating the transfer process may at times feel complex and overwhelming for not only students, but even their families too. This is why it’s important to continually educate on the benefits of MyPath2ASU and to create awareness about the transfer tools available to prospective ASU students.
And with our collaborative efforts, we’ve already seen an increase of over 550 new MyPath2ASU sign ups from this time last month! So thank you for all of your continued support in helping students learn how they can simplify the transfer process with MyPath2ASU.

Spring Training 2024 recap
Academic Alliances was excited to host our Spring Training sessions for our ASU colleagues and community college partners. This was a great opportunity to provide updates related to transfer and ASU, as well as step-by-step guidance on using our transfer pathway tool, MyPath2ASU. This year we had 111 attendees from 17 community colleges and ASU in attendance.
And if you missed Spring Training, no problem! You can watch a recording of the webinar at your convenience. The recorded session is an excellent resource for gaining insight into the topics discussed during the live event. As always, thank you for your collaboration throughout the year. For additional training needs related to MyPath2ASU, please reach out to Kathy Silberman at kathy.silberman@asu.edu..
