Transfer Connections with ASU’s transfer student ambassadors returns for the fall semester

With a new name and updated programming, Transfer Connections (formerly Fun Fridays) with ASU’s transfer student ambassadors is back and better than ever for your prospective transfer students. Taking place the first Friday of every month from 11 a.m. to noon, your students are invited to join the TSAs for this free webinar to learn more about the transfer experience from the perspective of transfer student.

Whether your students have signed up for MyPath2ASU® or are still wanting to learn more, this is a great opportunity to connect with current ASU students as they share their transfer experience and provide helpful information for transitioning to ASU. The TSAs will also demonstrate how to use MyPath2ASU, explain the benefits and guide students through the sign-up process for those who haven’t yet signed up. So encourage your students to join in, get to know other community college transfer students, and become even more prepared as they embark on their own transfer journey!

Community college MyPath2ASU partnership update

With the start of the semester quickly approaching, now is a great time to incorporate MyPath2ASU information into your fall programming. Whether students are just beginning their college journey or returning to a familiar campus, what better time than the start of the academic year to learn about the benefits of MyPath2ASU to help ensure students are correctly mapping their transfer path to ASU while early in their academic pursuits.

The MyPath2ASU transfer process is simple and efficient. Our transfer planning tool identifies the courses that directly apply to ASU majors, helping students save time and money by creating a smooth credit transfer process.

To create their MyPath2ASU pathway, students pick their ASU major, sign up for MyPath2ASU, and track their progress towards transfer. Hear from a transfer student on how MyPath2ASU helped support her transfer journey.

Your partnership in helping promote MyPath2ASU is greatly appreciated and an essential part of increasing pathway participation — thank you!

Live-hosted virtual visit and on-demand programs for your students

In addition to visiting one (or all) of ASU’s campuses, your students can participate in virtual visits and even virtual events, as well! Facilitated by ASU enrollment and academic staff, students can learn about attending ASU, ask questions, and virtually explore each campus.

Topics include applying to ASU, next steps for admitted transfer students, MyPath2ASU, financial aid, campus life, and more. There are even college-specific sessions from the academic units and Barrett, The Honors College. And the great thing about on demand is that your students (and even you) can watch as many as they’d like, at any time. So check out all of the live-hosted virtual and on-demand options available, and be sure to share with your students.
