ASU and Cochise College partnership continues to offer transfer pathways with MyPath2ASU
Paulette Iniguez Erunez, a transfer student from Cochise College, credits Cochise and MyPath2ASU with providing her “everything she needed to be able to transfer to ASU and complete her bachelor’s degree.” Erunez recently graduated with a BSE in the Fulton Schools of Engineering biomedical engineering program and is on track to graduate with her master’s degree as a part of ASU’s Accelerated “4+1” program.
“I’m currently involved in research at a lab at ASU. I have loved my time there, the skills I have acquired have definitely inspired me to search for jobs in the research and clinical field,” said Erunez. “I always knew this was an interest of mine, but now that I have hands-on experience, it is definitely a field I am looking into once I obtain my masters degree.”
Her education and career path were influenced by her family and her desire to give back to her community. “My grandfather fought prostate cancer for many years, and it made me realize the innovative technologies to treat such diseases and reduce the limited treatment options,” said Erunez. “With the career path I’ve chosen, I hope to serve other people in lower income communities especially in rural areas”
We invite you to watch this video to learn more about Erunez' transfer experience using MyPath2ASU.

Our very own transfer student ambassadors host their own peer-to-peer workshop the first Friday of each month from 11 a.m. to noon. These Fun Friday webinars are available to both MyPath2ASU students as well as those prospective transfer students looking to learn more. This is a great opportunity to connect with former community college students who have all completed the transfer journey to ASU. They’ll share helpful tips and advice, things they’ve learned along the way, the benefits of signing up for MyPath2ASU, and personal anecdotes in a fun and festive session.
We invite you to share these fantastic resources with your colleagues and students!
