Arizona State University is excited to announce some exciting changes to MyPath2ASU™! In collaboration with articulation experts we are now able to make adjustments to the pathways from your community college into over 400 ASU majors to provide a detailed and specific list of requirements for students so they are able to complete the needed requirements for their desired ASU major and the requirements for their community college associate degree.

Here are the details:

1. Complete Badge - Upon collaboration on the pathway details we will badge the pathway detailing to students that it’s been approved in collaboration with you!

4. Will Fulfill Option - For courses that are not equivalent to the ASU course requirement but will fulfill the requirement for that specific major.

Strength in Transferring with MyPath2ASU™

Maria Perez Martinez and Shanae Germick are two students who transferred to Arizona State University and took advantage of leadership position opportunities, each finding success during their time at the university.
Maria, who is studying biomedical engineering, transferred from Cochise College and was part of the MyPath2ASU™ pathway program.

Maria and her family moved to the United States from Mexico when she was a teenager. After struggling to decide what she wanted to do after high school commenced, she enrolled at Cochise College and eventually determined that she wanted to work towards transferring to ASU.

Here she is interviewed by her friend and fellow transfer student Shanae Germick about her transfer experience, and the excitement, nervousness and opportunities that accompanied the transition into the university.

Some important tips Maria has for transfer students are to ask for help when needed and to sign up for an ASU pathway program. "The pathway program helped me figure out what classes I was missing and what classes I needed to take at my community college to transfer to ASU as a true junior” she said. We invite you to watch their video and to share with your students!
